Creative Writing Workshop

A workshop that combines creative writing with body expression: writing with the body and allowing writing to reveal itself through movement. Through creative writing techniques, participants are invited to explore sensations, memories and desires inscribed in the body, transforming them into words inspired by images, objects, texts and music. The body becomes part of the narrative: as narrator, character or the engine of dramatic action. A space to experience the impact that a text can have on the body and the body on the construction of a text.

Conceição Garcia Studied Social Communication and completed a Masters in Writing for Film and Television from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Former at creative writing courses and educational coordinator of Escrever Escrever since its genesis. Developed courses for various audiences: enterprises, prisons, universities and hospitals.
