InShadow in the shadows of the world

The 19th edition of InShadow – Lisbon Screendance Festival is now accepting submissions. We invite filmmakers, choreographers, artists and photographers from around the world to submit works that explore the relationship between dance, body, movement and the moving image. InShadow – Lisbon Screendance Festival will take place from 15th of November to 15th of December 2026. The deadline for the Open Call for the international competitions has been extended to the 25th of May.

The film Ode to Age won the Audience Award RTP and will be on RTP2 on International Dance Day, 29th of April.

InShadow returns to the Barreiro Festival de Dança with a film screening on the 2nd of May at 4PM. We will be showing two videodances by Portuguese filmmakers who took part in the latest edition of InShadow .
