InShadow in the shadows of the world

Yesterday we inaugurated Espaço Cultural Mercês, where you can visit two photographic exhibitions and a videodance collection shown on a loop.

One light, one festival, one single shadow. Dance and cinema merge into a movement of diverse shadows. The InShadow Festival reinvents its own shadow and transcends the boundaries of cinema and dance, intersecting with other arts.

InShadow - Lisbon Screendance Festival returns to Lisbon for its 17th edition! We are excited to share the official poster for the festival, which runs from 11 November to 19 December. We would like to highlight that this year, InShadow is being held in collaboration with dancescreen2025, one of the most important international competitions in the current video dance scene, organised by IMZ International Music + Media Centre .
