Between the 5th and 7th of December, we'll be at Cinemateca Portuguesa for the cycle "A Cinemateca com o InShadow - Lisbon Screendance Festival", which, over the course of three sessions, explores the eternal relationship between cinema and dance.
Brigadoon (1954), Carmen (1983) and Hellzapoppin (1941) are the three films we'll be bringing to the Sala M. Félix Ribeiro at the Cinemateca, with the aim of giving viewers moments to revisit and reflect on the "history of cinema and the direct relationship it establishes with dance - this constant courtship between the body and the image", emphasises Pedro Sena Nunes, InShadow's Co-Artistic Director.
"InShadow is a festival for those looking for new ways of thinking about dance and cinema. So this collaboration with the Cinemateca is certainly one of the highlights of this edition", he adds.
