Over time, what was once beautiful, light, and full of promise begins to fade. The expectations that once kept us going don’t always come to life, leaving behind a quiet sense of disappointment. What once felt solid starts to give way, and what was light begins to feel heavier. The contrast between a hopeful beginning and an exhausted ending mirrors not only the emotional wear we go through, but also the way our view of what once brought us joy slowly changes.

My name is Inês, I am 19 years old and I live in Mafra, Portugal. Photography is my way of expressing what I feel and observe, something I have done since I was little. I like to explore emotional themes and turn feelings into images that speak for themselves.
