A workshop that brings creative writing and the body together, exploring the theme of home. Writing begins with the body, allowing words to emerge. Through creative writing techniques, participants are invited to explore sensations, memories and desires held in the body, transforming them into words inspired by images, objects, texts and music. The body becomes part of the narrative of the home we inhabit: as narrator, character or driving force behind the dramatic action. A space to explore the impact of text on the body and the role of the body in shaping a text. Words we will seek to inhabit.

Conceição Garcia studied Social Communication and Writing for Film and Television by the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Trainer of creative writing and storytelling courses, she founded the school Escrever Escrever in 2018 which she has been running since then. She develops courses for various audiences: prisons, companies, hospitals and universities.
