Devising With Machines

Vana Sleiman, Filippos Zoukas, Costas Lamproulis (GR)

Masterclass

21st November
2PM until 8PM

Dedicated to creative writing and performance, this masterclass brings together spoken word, slam poetry and the use of artificial intelligence tools in stage creation. Through writing exercises, improvisation and performance tasks, participants will explore text, voice, rhythm and stage presence, engaging in a collective creative process in which humans and machines contribute to shaping the artistic outcome.

Can we use artificial intelligence tools to create art?

Who actually writes the poem?

Who inspires and who is inspired?

Who expresses themselves and who benefits?

Who is moved and who speaks?

And what happens when we stop seeing the machine merely as a tool and start using it as a conversational partner, teammate or opponent in the creative process?
