Dance Workshop

27 November | 10am to 12pm

Multidesportivo Sporting

Building on Migration Dance Film Project’s use of the power of procession, this community workshop will explore body percussion and vocals taught by Sandy Silva. Participants will engage in an embodied vocal and movement experience, which is shared through a common walking “pulse” incorporating gestures, movement rhythms and vocalizations. The workshop includes activities for participants of multiple skill levels, using music, dance and vocals. The result is an embodied meditation in sound and motion.
