Part 1: Process and Production

In this 90min session we watch the dance film APXH and have a close look at how this 9min dance short film was produced (Pre-Production, Rehearsals, Filming, Post-Production.) The director and choreographer Maja Zimmerlin will share about the process and experience the team of 11 people went through and you will gain practical insights into how a dance film production can potentially proceed.

Part 2: Content and Movement

In a second step we will have a closer look at the content of the film and experience part of the movement research with our own bodies. As a group we connect with the origin of life of an individual as well as the entire planet. The microscopic forces of the cells which continuously copy, and divide meet the macroscopic forces of the orbiting planets.
