On February 20th, our shadow will move towards ROLLOUT Dance Film Festival in Macau.
Established in 2016, ROLLOUT is a biennial dance film festival, now in its fifth edition. Characterized by its international awards, encounters between artists, workshops and commissioned productions, the festival aims to build a dance film platform in Macau that promotes diverse creative opportunities and artistic exchange networks.

Under the theme "Moving through_________, beyond the known self", this year's selection reflects the collective intention of recreating oneself before the advent of a new direction, through the necessary detours and crossroads", according to the festival. As such, 60 films have been selected internationally to participate in the festival, of which 24 films will be screened in the competition categories and 36 films have been selected to be screened at various moments during the festival, both locally, in Macau, and globally, on ROLLOUT Online Cinema.
Honoring the long and close relationship between Portugal and Macau, we will bring a group of Portuguese video-dance films to the Macanese territory, a session that includes award-winning works from InShadow's previous editions and a film by Pedro Sena Nunes - a set of proposals that perfectly demonstrate the best of the Portuguese video-dance scene.

More than a showcase of national video-dance, this collaboration represents the building of bridges and artistic synergies. This is our genesis.
