Shadow in Motion: Barreiro Festival de Dança

InShadow returns to the Barreiro Festival de Dança with a film screening on the 2nd of May at 4PM. We will be showing two videodances by Portuguese filmmakers who took part in the latest edition of InShadow and who explore the architecture of sound and collective listening within a space.

Dances in the City - Fractal, Márcio Simões (PT) 6'

A series of short dance works for television, paying tribute to Lisbon’s iconic 1990s contemporary dance festival choreographers André Cabral, Clara Andermatt, Vasco Wellenkamp and Margarida Belo Costa reimagine their work within Lisbon’s architectural landmarks. Episode 4, Fractal, by Margarida Belo Costa, unfolds at Carpintarias de São Lázaro with dancers from the Portuguese Contemporary Ballet Company.
