The 17th edition of InShadow - Lisbon Screendance Festival already has a date set and comes with exciting news: a new international partnership, new awards and values that reinforce its presence in the international video-dance circuit and promise to make the festival a true space for artistic exchange.
This year, the festival welcomes the participation of dancescreen, one of the most important international competitions in the current videodance scene. Organized every three years by IMZ - International Music + Media Centre in cooperation with other festivals, the initiative seeks to give visibility to innovative projects in the field of videodance, bringing together emerging talents and specialists in the international dance film industry.

This partnership brings exciting changes to the InShadow Festival. This year, IMZ will sponsor awards with even more attractive prizes. Highlights include:
> Jorge Salavisa Award – IMZ | Best Videodance | 1.800€
> Luna Andermatt Award – IMZ | Best Documentary | 1.200€
> RTP Audience Award | Best Screendance Film | 2.000€ (broadcast rights acquisition by RTP)
With this partnership, InShadow reaffirms its mission to foster contemporary creation and stimulate the dynamism of international videodance production.
The Open Call for the 17th edition is open until 30 June. Videodance enthusiasts can submit their creations for a chance to win one of the new awards and join InShadow’s vibrant universe.
All the films already submitted are eligible for the new awards.
