KIELI BI (sacred dance in the Kazakh language) is an art film, a dance film and also a film on the theme of Woman - her body and spirit. The film narrates through dance the spiritual journey of dancer and choreographer Dana Mussa, who returns to visit her homeland of Kazakhstan after an eight-year absence working as a dancer in Paris. This is a journey through time and space, stretching back centuries to the time when women were free; when they were the Hunters, Knights, Amazons, Shamans, Priestesses, Queens and Goddesses.
