"Autorretrato (Self-Portrait) is a project that was born out of a very introspective time in my life, when I was struggling with doubts about my identity, personality and existentialism. Seeking help from astrology and inspiration from my sexuality and fears, I used photography to tell my story in my own way, where the image and the subject share the same focus: me."

Eduardo Melo, born on 17th June 2000, is a Portuguese photographer who, without a specific area to call his own, produces his art through various areas of photography.
After completing his high school photography studies at the Escola Profissional de Imagem (EPI), Eduardo began his working career in journalistic photography, getting involved in political, social and voluntary events, among others.
It is, however, in his free time that Eduardo best expresses his creativity through authorial projects, where his interest in fashion crosses paths with his love of telling stories with images.
