LONA is a movement research that embraces my choreographic vision while drawing inspiration from other art forms, such as cinema and photography, always keeping the body and its relationship with space-time at the center.
It is a space for personal exploration through movement, playful and challenging situations where we can uncover the infinite dynamic possibilities of our body. Movement is always treated as a means, never as an end in itself.
It is a place to explore, to reflect, to lose ourselves, and to celebrate the present moment. A place to discover new dynamic perspectives and integrate them into our personal vision, our daily life, or any space where we wish to express our authenticity from a vibrant, alive, and fully embodied place.
VENUE
Guido Sarli choreographer & filmmaker, starts his dance formation in Rome, later continuing his training in Holland, where he graduated as a dancer at the Rotterdam Dance Academy (Codarts).
In his career has worked with choreographers like Jiri Kylian, Ohad Naharin, Alexander Ekman, Stijn Celis, Gustavo Ramírez, Russell Maliphant among others.
Leading his own dance company Umma Umma Dance (Barcelona 2010), he has created several pieces awarded at international choreography competitions and presented in prestigious international festivals.
